Job Summary
Deliver exceptional hospitality to guests, teammates, and vendors by making and serving a selection of delicious beverages using various brewing methods and preparing food. Stay knowledgeable about current offerings through in-house tastings and cuppings, regularly tasting beverages to ensure quality and uphold standards. Create community by sharing coffee knowledge with guests and supporting team tasks like cleaning, clearing dishes, sweeping, and organizing condiment stations. Uphold all health, food safety, and safety guidelines while completing Barista training and 90-day validation post-hire. Eligible to work in the United States and 18 years or older, with a flexible schedule available for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Compensation is $18.00 per hour plus tips averaging $5-10 per shift hour and a Cafe Incentive Program.
Required Qualifications
- Eligible to work in the United States
- 18 years of age or older
- Basic math and computer skills
- A flexible schedule and are available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Complete Blue Bottle's Barista training and 90-day validation post-hire
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Use of hands to reach, grip, turn, and perform precision work
- As needed, squat, bend, twist, and reach for items below waist level or above shoulders
- Ability to lift, push/pull, carry, and/or move up to 50 pounds
- As needed, climb ladders, stairs, ramps, and uneven floors and/or surfaces
- Ability to smell and taste
- Ability to listen and speak
