Job Summary
Delight customers with consistent, welcoming hospitality, mastering cash handling, inventory, and waste tracking while maintaining a clean environment up to local health standards. Prepare and serve the matcha-forward menu using industry-leading equipment, partnering with Operations and Marketing teams on events and promotions. Train colleagues on company procedures and drive process improvements to keep shifts running smoothly and efficiently. Work flexible hours, including peak days on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, as part of the founding LA team.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years' experience in a customer service position, preferably in hospitality, retail, or coffee
- 18+ years of age
- Able to lift 25+ lbs, and to stand for long periods of time
- Availability that meets the needs of our cafes
- Part Time: 15-25 hours per week, 3 days per week and must be able to work 2 peak days (peak days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
- Full Time: 30-40 hours per week, 4-5 days per week and must be able to work 2 peak days (peak days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
- Weekend and holiday availability preferred
- You must be authorized to work in the U.S.: upon acceptance of a job offer and completion of the Form I-9 with acceptable documents, Blank Street will provide the federal government with employees' Form I-9 information to confirm authorization to work in the U.S. (a process known as "E-Verify")
