Job Summary
Welcome customers, inform them about specials, answer questions, and accept orders and payments. Prepare drinks, mocktails, grind and blend coffee beans, brew coffee and tea, and serve items. Package food and beverages for sale. Sell coffee and tea blends, highlight differences between items, and educate customers about brewing methods. Clean and restock work and dining areas, empty trash, and sanitize equipment. Update signage and displays to attract customers. Take inventory and replenish items in display cases, at tables, or behind the counter. Adhere to all food safety regulations and quality controls.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum grade "C" in K.C.P.E., or High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Availability to work around peak hours, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- A fun, polite, engaging personality
- Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence
- Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to follow policies and procedures as laid down by the company
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in food and beverage preparation or customer service
- Training and willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparation
