Job Summary
Teach, mentor, and coach students on the clinic floor and classroom using a company-approved curriculum while preparing them to pass the State Board exam. Ensure compliance with State Board rules and handle administrative duties including attending faculty meetings, recording grades and attendance, and counseling students. This day position requires a current Barber license, three to five years of barbering experience, and strong communication skills. Milan Institute is a private post-secondary college leading in Allied Health, Business, and Cosmetology fields.
Required Qualifications
- Current Barber license per State requirement
- Minimum of 3-5 years of Barber experience
- Computer skills necessary
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior teaching experience preferred but not required
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and team-building skills
