Job Summary
Barber Educator responsible for teaching and coaching technical skills (haircutting, color, nail, waxing and makeup) and guest service delivery to Aveda Institute students. Role models an enhanced guest experience by implementing the Aveda standards, develops coaching plans, and oversees both classroom instruction and hands-on practice to help students achieve productivity benchmarks and salon-readiness. Collaborates with campus teams, participates in events (Career Fairs, Earth Month), and helps maintain classroom operations, student records, and overall institute performance.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years behind the chair
- Barber License in Florida
- Passionate about learning and teaching
- Strong presentation & communications skills
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends
