Job Summary
Perform hair grooming services for clients while executing mandated sanitation protocols, sterilizing implements, and maintaining a clean, sterile workstation. Explain membership program value, recommend future visits and retail products, and promote up-sells to ensure a high standard of service. Stock and maintain professional tools in working order, assist with washing and folding linens, and ensure clients feel welcome upon arrival. Uphold shop appearance and cleanliness standards while working full-time on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Report to the Owner, Shop Manager, or Assistant Manager in a dynamic environment where you may earn commissions, bonuses, and tips.
Required Qualifications
- Full-time availability
- Working days are Tuesdays and Wednesdays
- Ability to work in a dynamic shop environment
- Supply and maintain professional tools in working order and free of rust - Electric hair clippers, shears/scissors, and straight/safety razors
- Well-developed interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with peers, supervisors, and clients
- At least one year of professional experience
- Master Barber should have a minimum of 5 years or an MB license
- Current state license
