Job Summary
Stock juices, liquor, beer, wine, glassware, and ice while preparing, cutting, and stocking fruit and garnishes for drinks. Complete bar recipe prep including juicing and batching, then wash and sanitize all glassware. Maintain bar cleanliness by sweeping floors, managing trash, and wiping down surfaces. Collaborate with management, bartenders, servers, hosts, food runners, and bussers to create a seamless dining experience. Fill waters, pre bus, reset the bar top, and complete assigned side tasks to support a productive environment. Attend educational sessions as required.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in English or Spanish
- Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol
- Courteous, friendly personality and professional appearance
- Knowledge of menu items, including beers, wines, cocktails, and liquors
- Basic math skills
- Strong problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle tense situations with coworkers and customers calmly and rationally
- Observant and thorough
- Responsible, punctual
- Able to take direction from bartenders and management staff
- Ability to meet physical and scheduling demands of the position, including, walking, standing, or lifting heavy items for extended periods and working nights, weekends, and holidays
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs
