Job Summary
Refill ice bins, restock beer and liquor, and cut garnishes while maintaining a clean, tidy bar environment. Change empty kegs in the keg room, including moving full kegs of beer, and organize all bar and drink ware. Clear and clean the bar in a timely manner, performing more than one task at a time while offering polite, professional, and courteous customer service. Communicate effectively with co-workers and guests, complete all assigned side work, and handle items weighing up to 200 pounds safely. This role requires alcohol awareness certification, food service experience, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Food service experience with general knowledge of bar/nightclub operations
- Must speak fluent English
- Must be at least age 18 or older, depending on state regulations
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency
- Reading and writing abilities
- Mathematical skills, including basic math
- The ability to handle, carry or lift items weighing up to 200 pounds (kegs, ice, glasses, trays, etc.)
- The ability to move about the facility efficiently and safely
- The ability to handle food, objects, products and utensils effectively and safely
- The ability to bend, stand, stooping, kneeling
- The ability to withstand potential climate temperature changes in assigned work area
