Job Summary
The Barback position involves performing basic prep work behind the bar, such as refilling ice bins, restocking liquor and beer, and handling empty kegs. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, organizing the bar, and providing professional customer service. Candidates should have food service experience, effective communication skills, and must be able to lift weights up to 200 pounds. Certification in alcohol awareness or a food service permit is required.
Required Qualifications
- Food service experience with general knowledge of bar/nightclub operations.
- Fluency in English; other languages preferred.
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency.
- Basic mathematical skills.
