Job Summary
Stock bars, stations, and coolers while maintaining liquor storage rooms and ensuring all areas remain clean and orderly. Replenish inventory and supplies, then wash glasses, utensils, and serving items following approved sanitation and safety guidelines. Dispose of recyclables and transport soiled barware to the stewarding area. Clean and reset bar and lounge areas, stocking and removing glassware, ice, napkins, and straws. Adhere to standard food handling, sanitation, TIPS, and health department guidelines. Work indoors in moderate temperatures, though readiness for extreme conditions in freezers or kitchens is required. Maintain 8 hours of standing and mobility, lifting up to 30 lbs and pushing/pulling equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. Be flexible with evening, weekend, and holiday schedules. Complete the ServSafe Alcohol Online Course and obtain a valid ABL Server License within 30 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be flexible in schedule, including evening, weekend and holidays
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for a minimum of 8 hours in length
- Must be able to exert well-paced ability in limited space
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks
- Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously
- Must be able to lift trays of food, food items, bags, cases weighing up to 30 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis
- Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity
- Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment
- Must be able to work effectively in a stressful environment
- Must be able to communicate with others
- Must be able to effectively deal with customers
- Must be able to accept constructive criticism from supervisors
- Must be able to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions
- Complete the South Carolina state-approved ServSafe Alcohol Online Course & Exam within 30 days of hire
- Possess a valid ABL Server License issued by the state of South Carolina within 30 days of hire
