Job Summary
Stock products for the bar, including alcoholic beverages, icing wells, and keg coolers, while drafting beer and pouring wine for guest orders. Ensure all equipment is operable and clean prior to events, then maintain bar cleanliness by mopping floors, stacking mats, and managing trash. Assist bartenders with running supplies such as fruit, napkins, cups, and stirrers, and recognize visibly intoxicated guests to alert staff. Adhere to alcohol dispensing policies and sanitation standards while demonstrating excellent attendance. This part-time, tip-eligible role includes a 401(k) matching plan and is open until October 23, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner that focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment
- Possess a valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by state and federal regulations
- Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to product inventory
- Show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barback preferred but not required
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume bar capacity is preferred
