Job Summary
Barback needed to support bartenders and serving staff at an upscale outdoor bar in the KC Live! Block. Responsibilities include prep work behind the bar (refilling ice, restocking beer/liquor, cutting garnishes), changing kegs, maintaining a clean bar, organizing barware, and providing polite, professional customer service. Must have food service experience, fluent English (other languages preferred), and alcohol awareness certification or food handler card as required by local/state regulations. Position may require nights, weekends, and holidays; must be able to lift up to 200 pounds and move quickly and safely through the bar area.
Required Qualifications
- Food service experience
- Fluent English
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency
- Must be at least age 18 or older (state regulations)
- Ability to lift up to 200 pounds
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
