Job Summary
The Barback assists the Bartender to deliver high-quality service while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout operating hours. Responsibilities include preparing the section for service, following the Pillars of Service, aiding teammates to ensure guest satisfaction, stocking and rotating coolers, enforcing liquor laws, attending trainings, and supporting safety policies. Required: 1+ year barback experience, food handlers’ card, state alcohol certification, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and fluent English. Must be able to work a variety of shifts including late hours, holidays, and weekends; 18+ years old; comfortable in a fast-paced beverage environment with strong communication and time-management skills.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years barback experience
- Food handlers’ card
- State recognized responsible alcohol certification
- Must be of legal age to create and pour alcoholic beverages in accordance with local and state laws
- Must be able to stand, walk and lift up to 10 pounds (and variations stated) and lift up to 50 pounds
- Fluent in English
