Job Summary
Maintain cleanliness of all bars and service areas, ensuring bar and service ware remains tidy throughout the shift. Replace beer kegs, soda tanks, CO2 tanks, and wine containers as needed, while cutting fruits and vegetables for cocktail garnishes. Obtain stock, ice, and service items from storage, assisting bartenders with set-up and break-down. Remove used service items and communicate any guest concerns to management promptly. Adhere to Health Code and ABC Regulations while working in a fast-paced, loud environment with extended periods of standing.
Required Qualifications
- Valid ABC Card
- Ability to lift 30-100 pounds
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work later hours
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work closely and efficiently with others
- Possess an in-depth knowledge of beer, wine, spirits and cocktails
- Tolerance of all cultures, music and art forms
- Ability to perform reaching and stooping motions repeatedly
- Ability to move throughout the bar and venue areas during the entire shift
- Ability to work in an environment with loud music, smoke and crowds for extended periods of time
- Ability to stand or in a stationary position for entire shift
