Job Summary
Stock and re-stock all bar inventories while maintaining organization, ensuring proper equipment settings and clean bar stations. Anticipate guest needs, assist bartenders with service support, and prepare garnishes for beverages. Maintain general cleanliness of the bar, venue, and back-of-house storage, including wiping surfaces, emptying trash, and keeping liquor displays organized. Complete opening and closing procedures, report breakage or damage immediately, and attend daily pre-service meetings and training sessions. Communicate guest needs to front-of-house and kitchen staff while adhering to sanitation standards and company protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Min 1-year previous barback experience or equivalent related Tao Group Hospitality experience
- Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge
- Ability to write, read, and verbally communicate
- Must have good positive energy throughout the day
- Must be able to print legibly for Team Members, management, and guests to read
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to move quickly
- Must be able to push and lift up to 75 lbs. with or without assistance
- Must be effective as part of a team; ability to interact with internal and external customers, managers, and co-workers in a professional, courteous manner
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to handle a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment
- May work extended hours irregular shifts, evening and/or weekend shifts, and holiday work may be required
