Job Summary
Prepare all beverages for guests, actively take orders, and conduct full food and beverage service while monitoring the dining experience. Anticipate guest needs, present menus, answer questions, and solicit allergy or dietary restrictions. Accurately enter orders into the POS system, ensure delivery of all items, and maintain bar cleanliness and organized liquor displays. Properly set up and close bar stations, stock supplies, and complete opening and closing procedures as directed. Adhere to state alcohol regulations, sanitation standards, and all training requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years bartender experience or equivalent related Tao Group Hospitality experience
- Minimum 2 years of food and beverage experience
- Experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge
- Comprehensive knowledge of classic cocktails
- Basic familiarity with wine varietals and classic regions around the world
- Ability to write, read, and verbally communicate
- Must have good positive energy throughout the day
- Must be able to print legibly for Team Members, management, and guests to read
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to move quickly
- Must be able to push and lift up to 75 lbs. with or without assistance
- Must be effective as part of a team; ability to interact with internal and external customers, managers, and co-workers in a professional, courteous manner
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to handle a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment
- Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards
