Job Summary
Operate LP equipment while adhering to all quality system goals, safety rules, and 6S standards. Execute lock out tag out procedures, complete time sheets, and file accident/incident reports. Maintain product ID and parking, participate in the recycle program, and follow continuous improvement initiatives. Wear required PPE including safety shoes, glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, and acid PPE as needed. Report equipment defects to supervisors and comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Submit time off requests and maintain a clean work area.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of high school degree or equivalent (GED)
- Mobility in plant
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk
- Frequently required to make use of their hands for technical tasks
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Visual ability with or without correction
- Communication abilities
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to learn, adapt, and retain information
- Must have strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
