Job Summary
Bar Server with full-time schedule providing beverages and light food service in a bar/lounge within The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa. Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, delivering drinks and snacks, maintaining bar cleanliness, stocking stations, and operating the POS system. Must know cocktails, wines, and beers, upsell premium items, follow responsible service protocols, and communicate effectively with guests and staff. Requires 2 years of bartender experience in a high-volume setting and TABC certification; strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and professional appearance are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school education, GED, or equivalent experience
- Must have 2 years previous bartender experience in a high-volume restaurant and/or hotel
- Must have alcohol beverages and wine knowledge
- Must have TABC Certification
