Job Summary
Lead the day-to-day bar operations, including staff scheduling, inventory, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Train, supervise, and motivate bar staff to follow policies, deliver exceptional service, and uphold responsible alcohol service. Develop and update the beverage menu, create new cocktails, and stay current on industry trends. Manage the bar budget, monitor sales and expenses, implement cost-control measures, and strive for profitability while maintaining quality. Implement strategies to enhance the customer experience, coordinate bar services for events with other departments, and ensure health and safety compliance and licensing requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years experience as a Restaurant or Bar Manager
- Knowledge of wine, wine service, beverage standards, and various drink recipes
- Knowledge of beer, liquor, and all other alcoholic beverages
