Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate stand workers by assigning duties, resolving operational problems, and ensuring clean, stocked workstations. Analyze inventory discrepancies, manage opening and closing procedures, and verify transaction totals for all assigned bar stands. Complete required paperwork, order replacement stock, and maintain equipment organization between events. Handle POS systems and inventory efficiently while adhering to union membership requirements and health certificates. Work extended hours, nights, and weekends across all venue events.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Prior experience as a stand attendant/worker or other food service worker
- Ability to interact with co-workers in order to assure compliance with company service standards
- Must be able to handle a Point of Sale (POS) system in a non-cash venue and inventory efficiently and the ability to multitask in a fast paced, team orientated setting
- Must be able to work fluently in English
- Ability to work in an open aired environment during all climate conditions
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds, up and down stairs/ramps
- Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
- Must have state and local health requirements for food handlers/ ServSafe and RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) Certificates
- Must have verifiable professional references
- Ability to work all Venue events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Condition of employment is union membership
