Job Summary
Set and maintain the bar operation by preparing mixers, cutting fruit, and managing par levels while ensuring cleanliness of the outlet, floors, glassware, and mirrors. Run food services, set up and breakdown the bar, and collect or dispose of garbage. Assist bar staff as needed and retrieve beverage, food, and non-food requisitions. Participate in deep cleaning tasks and operate outlet equipment including coffee makers and cash terminals. Work seven days a week, 24 hours a day, with flexible hours determined by business needs and potential on-call rotation for holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
- Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must possess basic computational ability.
- Must have knowledge of and be able to operate all equipment related to the outlet, including, but not limited to, coffee maker and cash terminal.
- Must have a strong knowledge of drink preparation and applicable health standards.
- Must be able to work in extreme temperatures like freezers (-10°F) and kitchens (+110°F), possibly for one hour or more.
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length.
- Must be able to exert well-paced ability in limited space.
- Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
- Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach other departments of the hotel on a timely basis.
- Must have the ability to bend, squat and lift 25 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis and frequently lift up to 50 lbs., including, but not limited to, lifting trays of food or food items.
- Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
- Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment, including, but not limited to, coffee machine and terminals, and cutlery to slice or cut food items.
- This company operates seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
- At times it may be necessary to move you from your accustomed work day, to include Holidays, or time of work if business or task assignments demand.
