Job Summary
Part-time Bar Back at Monday Night Preservation Co. in Nashville, TN. Responsibilities include opening/closing bar checklists, cleaning and stocking glassware and bar equipment, keeping the taproom clean, prepping snacks, monitoring the taproom, garnish prep, helping with taproom side work and deep cleaning, stocking beer and supplies, and maintaining safe practices at all times. Reports to the General Manager and Shift Leads; maintain an excellent guest experience from entry to departure in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment. Qualifications emphasize 21+ age, prior craft beer or bartending experience preferred, teamwork, strong communication, hospitality mindset, willingness to learn about beer, flexibility for weekends/holidays/evenings, and the physical ability to perform duties (lifting up to 40 pounds, standing up to 8 hours). Required Qualifications
- Must be 21+
- Prior craft beer or bartending experience preferred
- Team player with hospitality mindset
- Willingness to learn about beer and share knowledge
- Proactive in improving guest experience
- Willingness to step in wherever needed
- Flexible schedule, primarily weekends, some holidays and evenings
- Ability to work at least 3 weekends a month
- Demonstrate Monday Night values
- Physical ability to climb, lift at least 40 pounds, stand up to 8 hours in a hot environment
