Job Summary
Bar Back assists the bar staff to ensure great guest experiences and a smooth shift for the entire restaurant. Responsibilities include interacting with guests and staff professionally, stocking wells with liquor and supplies, ensuring beer, wine, and cordials are stocked, refilling mixers and syrups, cutting fruit and garnishes, setting up the bar, batching cocktails according to recipes, arriving on time in proper uniform, using juicers safely, following management directions, possessing extensive menu knowledge to answer guests’ questions, obtaining and updating required certifications, setting up and breaking down the bar area, cleaning floors and surfaces, emptying trash, and operating bar equipment. Requires the ability to stand long periods, multi-task in a fast-paced environment, lift 50 lbs, read recipes, and maintain certifications.
