Job Summary
Restock spirits, beer, wine, mixers, ice, glassware, and garnishes throughout service while maintaining bar cleanliness by wiping surfaces, organizing stations, and removing trash. Assist bartenders with prep tasks such as cutting garnishes, batching cocktails, and replenishing inventory, and monitor bar flow to keep service fast and efficient. Support opening and closing procedures, including inventory counts and station setup/breakdown, while upholding safety and cleanliness standards. This role requires standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and navigating a fast-paced environment atop Detroit's historic Book Tower.
Required Qualifications
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand and/or walk, push, kneel, bend, balance, squat, reach and stretch for eight (8) hours per day
- Agility in executing fast-paced movements to navigate different areas of the property efficiently
- Ability to move, pull, carry, or lift objects weighing at least 50 pounds
