Job Summary
Stock ice, paper products, glassware, and china; check glassware for chips and residue; cut bar fruit daily. Transport glasses, ice, heavy bottles, and kegs while maintaining proper storage organization. Assist bartenders with stocking tasks, clear used plates and silverware, and bring bar food from the kitchen. Rinse blenders, rotate stock, and pour wines with approval. Perform routine maintenance on bar equipment and report repairs or unsafe conditions. Work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays in a fast-paced environment. Must be over 21 with good communication skills and physical stamina.
Required Qualifications
- Good communication skills both speaking and understanding English
- Speed, accuracy, attention to detail, courtesy and anticipation of guests needs
- Willingness to work long hours on feet in high pressure environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good physical condition and ability to bend, reach overhead, some pushing and pulling
- Firm grasping required
- Hands in and out of water frequently
- Occasional changes in temperatures from walk-in refrigeration
- Ability to listen to direction
- Must be over 21
- At least 1 yr. in a mid to high volume outlet
- High school diploma required
