Job Summary
Greet each customer with the company greeting and provide prompt, courteous service while maintaining a positive demeanor. Maintain a clean, attractive lounge environment by completing all shift duties and adhering to appearance standards. Prepare alcoholic beverages and food items, verifying customer age and refusing service when required by law. Stock supplies, process cash and electronic transactions accurately, and record sales promptly. Complete end-of-day paperwork and reports, attend staff meetings, and follow all gaming regulations and safety protocols. Requires a valid video draw poker permit, driver's license, and bar/ABO card if applicable. Base pay ranges from $10.50 to $12.50 hourly.
Required Qualifications
- Previous bartending, hospitality, customer service or gaming experience
- Ability to read and follow written procedures and policies as well as instructions for operating video poker machines and other equipment
- Sufficient visual acuity to check and verify identification
- Basic PC skills, specifically Microsoft Office Products
- Basic mathematical, calculating and money counting skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Work Cards Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
- Valid video draw poker employee permit
- Valid state issued driver's license, identification card or U.S. Military identification card
- Ability to successfully obtain a Parish Bar/ABO card if required for the Parish they currently work
