Job Summary
Lead, train, and motivate bar and floor staff during busy shifts while monitoring service speed and quality to keep queues moving. Oversee the smooth running of bar and floor areas, manage till operations including end-of-night close down, and coordinate restocking with cellar teams. Ensure strict adherence to licensing requirements, Challenge 25, Health & Safety, and Food Hygiene standards. Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally, working closely with managers to deliver excellent service. This role operates on an as-needed basis for matchdays at Rangers FC, requiring previous supervisory experience in hospitality and the ability to remain calm in fast-paced environments.
Required Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience within a busy bar, pub, events venue, or hospitality environment
- Confident team leader with the ability to motivate and support others
- Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Strong customer service focus
- Good understanding of licensing, Health & Safety, and Food Hygiene requirements
- Flexible availability to work matchdays, evenings, and weekends
