Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments, patient evaluations, and informed consent processes while managing airways, emergence, and recovery. Administer emergency fluids, drugs, or advanced cardiac life support techniques as needed. Document all services accurately and develop standards for continuity of care and case management. Collaborate with surgeons and nursing staff to solve outstanding issues and attend meetings as required. Maintain compliance with American Association of Nurse Anesthetists rules and regulations at local, state, and federal levels. Provide professional anesthesia services in accordance with the standard of care within a team-oriented clinical setting.
