Job Summary
Approach all guest and employee encounters with a friendly, service-oriented demeanor while maintaining high standards of personal grooming and uniform compliance. Execute preparatory tasks and side work duties to ensure banquet functions are served promptly and efficiently. Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality scheduling standards, which vary according to hotel needs. Read the Banquet Event Order and familiarize yourself with assigned function menus. Comply with all applicable certification requirements, including Alcohol Awareness, food handler safety, and state regulations. Work effectively in stressful, high-pressure situations while upholding brand standards for safe and efficient hotel operations.
Required Qualifications
- Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
