Job Summary
Manage banquet setup and service for all assigned functions while approaching guests and employees with a friendly, service-oriented demeanor. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including proper uniform and name tag, while reading Banquet Event Orders and familiarizing yourself with assigned menus. Perform preparatory tasks and side work duties to ensure prompt and efficient guest service, complying with Aimbridge Hospitality standards for attendance, safety certifications, and alcohol awareness. Work on-call shifts with varying schedules according to hotel needs.
Required Qualifications
- Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
