Job Summary
Set up and service all assigned banquet functions, including reading Banquet Event Orders and familiarizing yourself with assigned menus. Approach guests and employees with a friendly, service-oriented demeanor while maintaining high standards of personal appearance and proper uniform. Perform preparatory tasks and side work to ensure prompt service, and comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards for attendance, safety, and certification requirements including Alcohol Awareness and food handler safety. Maintain a warm, professional presence in stressful, high-pressure situations.
Required Qualifications
- Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
