Job Summary
Set up and service all assigned banquet functions, including performing preparatory tasks and side work duties to ensure guests are served promptly. Approach guests and employees with a friendly, service-oriented demeanor while maintaining high standards of personal appearance and proper uniform. Read banquet event orders, familiarize yourself with assigned menus, and comply with all Aimbridge Hospitality standards regarding attendance, safety certifications, and alcohol awareness. Work in high-pressure situations to drive exceptional results across our global hotel portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
