Job Summary
Set up and service all assigned banquet functions, including reading the Banquet Event Order and familiarizing yourself with the assigned menu. Approach guests and employees with a friendly, service-oriented demeanor while maintaining high standards of personal appearance and proper uniform. Perform preparatory tasks and side work duties to ensure prompt and efficient service. Maintain regular attendance in compliance with scheduling needs and adhere to all safety and certification requirements, including Alcohol Awareness and food handler safety. Work effectively in stressful, high-pressure situations while following Aimbridge Hospitality standards for safe operations.
Required Qualifications
- Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
