Job Summary
Set up and service all assigned banquet functions while maintaining high standards of personal appearance and grooming. Approach every guest and employee encounter with a friendly, service-oriented demeanor, responding promptly to complaints and accidents by referring to management as needed. Read banquet event orders, clear spaces after functions, and ensure the banquet store room remains organized and stocked. Comply with all Aimbridge Hospitality standards, including alcohol awareness and food handler certifications, while attending required meetings and performing other tasks assigned by supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
- Must be effective at listening to understanding and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests
- Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data and basic arithmetic functions
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
