Job Summary
The Banquets Housecleaner / Set-up is responsible for set up and break down of tables, chairs, risers, podiums, and flags for meeting and banquet functions. Responsibilities include cleaning tables and floors, refreshing meeting rooms, and performing other duties to exceed guest expectations. Candidates should have at least 3 months of relevant experience, good public contact skills, and be able to work various shifts. Physical requirements include lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 months’ experience in a restaurant, banquet, or room set-up position
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to read and comprehend a set-up diagram
- Good public contact skills
- Must be available to work all shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to perform heavy cleaning and transport objects weighing up to 75 pounds
