Job Summary
Banquets - Catering Coordinator at The Lodge & Club coordinates and organizes the details for group meetings, special events, and weddings, including creation and turnover of Banquet Event Orders, deposits, and contracts. Uses systems like Springer Miller, iVvy/Delphi, and Canary; communicates event information to departments; provides day-of-event support and ensures timelines are executed; builds in-house meeting holds and supports the Catering Department. Requires a four-year degree (preferred in related fields), experience in conference and catering coordination, a valid Florida driver's license, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays; emphasizes high-volume hospitality operations, team orientation, and professional presentation in a luxury resort/membership-club setting.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year college degree (preferred in Hotel Management, Business or Marketing)
- Prior experience in conference & catering coordination
- Valid Florida Driver's License
- Working knowledge of service agreements, banquet event orders, hotel/resort operations and procedures
