Job Summary
Banquets - Catering Coordinator at The Lodge & Club/Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club in Jacksonville, FL, responsible for organizing and coordinating the details for group meetings and special event functions. Core duties include building accounts in Springer Miller, iVvy/Delphi and Canary; managing contract turnover, deposits, and signage; distributing Banquet Event Orders and related documents; providing day-of-event support for weddings and large-scale events; coordinating internal communications and timelines; ensuring compliance with company standards and dress code. Requires a four-year college degree (preferred majors in Hotel Management, Business, or Marketing) or two years of prior catering/coordinator experience, plus a valid Florida driver’s license. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends/holidays, lift up to 50 pounds, and operate in a high-volume upscale hospitality environment.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in conference and catering coordination
- Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License
- Experience with Banquet Event Orders, Group Resumes, and deposits
- Working knowledge of service agreements, BEOs, and hotel/resort operations
Desired Qualifications
- Four-year college degree in related field (Hotel Management, Business or Marketing) or 2 years prior experience in Conference & Catering
- Valid Florida Driver’s License
