Job Summary
Banquet service role handling food courses and beverages at events; set tables according to event type and service standards, answer menu questions, communicate with the kitchen about menu questions, timing, and special requests, and process transactions in the MICROS system. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and assist guests to ensure satisfaction with each course or beverage. Present checks and complete payment, follow safety policies, support team goals, and demonstrate professional communication. You may be required to stand or walk for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds and navigating stairs or ramps. Education requirement is a high school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of related work experience is preferred. Marriott International is an equal opportunity employer.
