Job Summary
Provide banquet service: serve courses and beverages to guests, answer menu questions, and communicate with kitchen about menu questions, recooks, and product availability. Maintain cleanliness of service areas, inspect china/glass/silverware, ensure tables are properly crumbed, and communicate guest dietary needs to the kitchen. Support team by ensuring staff coordination, adherence to quality standards, and safe work practices. Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, coaching, and disciplining staff; model professional behavior and uphold company safety policies. Stand and move for extended periods; handle objects of varying sizes with appropriate physical effort. Maintain professional appearance and protect company assets. Welcoming guests and addressing service needs with courtesy and appreciation; ensure effective communication among guests and staff; participate in safety trainings and certifications as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- At least 2 years of related work experience
