Job Summary
Set up banquet venues according to event orders, including tables, chairs, linens, and service equipment; provide professional food and beverage service during banquets, conferences, weddings, and special events; serve food and beverages efficiently following service sequences and quality standards; attend pre-function briefings to understand event requirements, menus, and service flow; liaise with supervisors, kitchen, and bar teams to ensure smooth service execution; maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas before, during, and after events; clear tables and reset spaces between courses; handle guest requests and queries politely; escalate issues when necessary; adhere to hygiene, health, and safety standards; follow hotel policies, brand standards, and grooming guidelines; assist with breakdown and storage of banquet equipment; support colleagues and supervisors to ensure overall guest satisfaction; opportunities for development and advancement within Accor.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Banquet Waiter or Food & Beverage Server in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards
- Good communication skills and a positive, professional attitude
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions
- Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and food-handling practices is an advantage
