Job Summary
Set up function rooms for scheduled banquets/functions/events; serve food and beverages; clear rooms after events; set up linens and tableware efficiently and correctly; prepare work areas with equipment, food items and beverages; ensure events are ready at least 15 minutes prior to start; brew proper amount of coffee and manage air pots; set up tray stands and trays in service areas; return linens, usable food and beverages to storage; break down and clean bar, store supplies; assist in cleanup of function room including removal of glassware and trays; participate in RLK and Company’s Health & Safety Program; promote a healthy workplace, sustainability efforts, and professional image; maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Required Qualifications
- Must be service oriented
- Must be detail oriented with ability to set and meet high customer service standards
- Must use proper etiquette while conversing with guests
- Must know and follow all proper service procedures
- Must have valid OLCC and Oregon Food Handlers permit
- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be flexible and capable of bending, twisting and kneeling
- Must be able to work in tight space with balance and poise
- Must be able to work on feet, stand and walk for up to 8 hours at a time
- Must be able to keep up with the pace of the department demands of the position
