Job Summary
Check Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) at the start of each shift, ensuring supplies and equipment are ready 15 minutes prior to event start. Set up and tear down tables, chairs, and windows according to BEO specifications or company standards. Vacuum event rooms and coordinate A/V setup, verifying all equipment is functional before guests arrive. Assist banquet guests with special needs and requests throughout their functions. This physical role involves working indoors and outdoors in tents or patios, including long periods of standing, squatting, and lifting up to 75 lbs. Shifts run from 5am to 1am, covering breakfast, weddings, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of audio visual equipment and set up
- Must be able to work in both indoor and outdoor locations and conditions
- Must be able to walk/stand for long periods of time
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Must be able to frequently squat, reach above shoulder level, crouch, balance and push/pull
- Must be able to occasionally bend/stoop, twist, climb and kneel
- Must be able to repeatedly lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to frequently lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to occasionally lift/carry up to 75 lbs.
- Available day and night shifts during summer
- Weekends & holidays required
