Job Summary
Set up, break down, and service all meeting rooms to guest specifications, transporting heavy materials like staging, tables, and chairs from storage to function areas. Continually communicate with the supervisor to ensure accurate room preparation and maintain established cleaning schedules so ballrooms remain presentable. Supply and replenish rooms with clean glasses and fresh water, then properly store all items after events conclude. Perform general cleaning tasks using standard property products and assist with unexpected spills or special guest requests as needed. This role requires considerable physical activity, including lifting items up to 80 lbs and pushing carts weighing 500 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift and move multiple tables, chairs and podiums, weighing up to 80 lbs. through a crowded room.
- Ability to lift tables and chairs, raising arms overhead.
- Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise move or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighing a maximum of 500 lbs.
- Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
