Job Summary
A banquet set up crew member is responsible for setting up and breaking down events, returning all items from the site to the Banquet Department, performing food preparation, providing customer service, ensuring sanitation, and other food service duties. The position requires the ability to lift at least 60 pounds, stand on your feet for long periods, and work flexible hours. Previous banquet or restaurant experience is preferred but not required, and knowledge of food safety procedures is a bonus. This role offers valuable experience in banquet service and growth opportunities within the resort's Food & Beverage team.
Required Qualifications
- Previous banquet or restaurant experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and carry trays and move tables and chairs
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs and stand for extended periods
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures is a plus
