Job Summary
Prepare function sites and set dining tables, buffets, and service areas according to specifications and banquet event orders. Serve food and beverage items to guests while communicating their requests and concerns to the department manager. Maintain clean banquet kitchens, coolers, and equipment, and assist with inventory control and waste monitoring. Incorporate safe work practices throughout job performance and anticipate guest needs to ensure excellent customer service. Perform other duties as required. This part-time role is available at Colony West Golf Club in Tamarac, FL, within the hospitality-focused organization Troon.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months of banquet setting and service experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- at least 18 years of age
- Demonstrates good energy and motivation
- Knowledge of banquet set up
- Regular and reliable attendance
