Job Summary
The Banquet Server prepares the function site, ensuring that the meeting room is set according to specifications and serves food and beverages to guests in accordance with established guidelines. Responsibilities include setting up dining tables and buffet areas, communicating guest requests, maintaining cleanliness in the banquet area, assisting with inventory control, and ensuring excellent customer service by anticipating guest needs. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, relevant experience, and be at least 18 years old to serve alcohol.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months of banquet setting and service experience and/or training
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
