Banquet Server

Banquet Server needed to attend pre-function briefings, learn function specifics, and support service delivery. Responsibilities include knowing menu ingredients and preparation methods, setting up per the Banquet Event Order (BEO) including table draping, silverware, napkin folding, drink preparation, and centerpieces; maintaining cleanliness of linen, silverware, and glassware; setting tables and buffets professionally and uniformly; greeting and serving guests per policies; assisting in all aspects of service; promptly notifying management of incidents related to excessive alcohol consumption or impaired conditions; following check and payment policies for a-la-carte and beverage orders; proper in-room clearing and tray breakdown; keeping stations tidy; break-down of buffets or related equipment; completing assigned side work and cleaning duties; punctuality and proper uniform; attending department meetings; maintaining professional attitude in communications with guests, vendors, and associates; reporting guest dissatisfaction or significant incidents to management with corrective actions; complying with safety, sanitation, security, and emergency procedures; writing shift reports when assigned; performing special projects and contributing to task forces as requested.
