Job Summary
Greet guests, take orders, and serve food and beverages in various styles including plated, buffet, and flash service. Assist with event setups, preparation, and clean-up by placing tables, chairs, and place settings, while ensuring all areas remain clean and tidy. Attend pre-shift meetings, prepare coffee breaks and service stations, and replenish buffet items to maintain consistency. Clear courses, collect used dishes, and monitor tableware presentation throughout the meal. Communicate guest concerns to the Banquet Captain and adhere to grooming standards. This seasonal role requires Vermont Department of Liquor Control Certification, the ability to lift 40 pounds, and working on feet for up to 12 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Basic education (high school)
- Vermont Department of Liquor Control Certification
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- Must be able to be on your feet for up to 12 hours
- Work schedule will vary to include days, nights, holidays, and weekends
