Job Summary
Read Banquet Event Orders to understand set-up, menu, and service specifics, then arrange tables, linens, and place settings according to event style specifications. Greet attendees upon arrival and provide continued service using proper techniques for table, butler, or buffet events while maintaining a clean and orderly workspace throughout the shift. Tear down, clean up, restock, and reset areas at the end of the event, communicating with kitchen staff regarding menu clarifications and dietary specifications. Assist guests with ingredient explanations and follow detailed instructions from the Banquet Captain, Manager, and Clubhouse Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Must be able to read English and communicate clearly
- Must be able to read and follow detailed instructions
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule, days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to stand and walk for duration of shift
- Must be able to lift, push, carry up to 40 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- ServSafe / RAMP Certification preferred
- Previous banquet service experience preferred
