Job Summary
Dissect banquet event orders and deliver fine dining level food and beverage service for plated, buffet, and catering events. Initiate and maintain friendly contact with guests while anticipating and meeting their needs. Setup and maintain food and beverage stations throughout the building, manage inventory, and keep all event areas tidy. Participate in setup and cleanup of service items, working independently during slower times. Perform safe work practices to ensure a clean environment. Work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. This role offers a $16.00-$18.00 hourly rate with 401(k) matching and remains open until November 6, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects often
- Ability to carry at least 8 entrees per tray
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and select holidays
- Must be detail-oriented to ensure that work is accurate and complete
- Ability to multitask
- Must have a customer-focused, positive, and professional attitude
- Strong communications skills
- Knowledge of basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
- Must be punctual with consistent attendance
- Must be able to respond to simple complaints or inquiries from customers, members of the business community, and/or regulatory agencies
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent GED is strongly preferred
- Equivalent experience may be substituted
- 1+ years of work experience in events, banquets, or restaurants preferred
